A warning from my son

"Mummy, if you carry on smoking when we get to our big house you'll either be dead or too ill to enjoy it."

It's so hard! And I feel so crap because he's probably right. I say 'probably' because I don't want him to be...I've promised myself when we get that sodding secure tenancy I'll stub it out for good. What's even worse is he looks just like the child on the "Protect Children: Don't make them breathe your smoke" warning and that doesn't stop me either...
I'm sad, feckless and weak chasing the most ridiculous dream...

I've run out of ideas!I've tried to explain about addiction to him but then even with adults, unless they've been there themselves, it's um, very difficult! Children though, children can make you feel so stupid, which I am. There's no way out but to stop. Aargh, the vicious circle as I relight another...When we're evicted, whereever we go, even if we lose and don't get security, this a pledge I must make for him tonight. In the meantime I must keep fighting and although Nico Teen might not be the best ally, now's not the time to abandon it, I'll get so ratty...! xxx
