I won two tickets to go and see La Soiree at Camden's Roundhouse this evening.
How lucky, how lucky how lucky am I?
I entered a competition on the I love camden website just before Christmas.
It couldn't come at a better time, this escape escape from my life.
Cabaret! Woo hoo!!! I was desperate to go but couldn't afford it!!
I'm taking my friend Em with me, to say thanks for bailing me out financially when we went out before Christmas. I'm cooking her dinner before we go out (pasta poor girl!)
Thanks so much I Love Camden. So so so so so so so so much!
Also means I can now add a third win to my 'competition winnings' label! Let's hope it grows as long as my 'housing government and council' label - still no luck with happy endings there but live in hope that Camelot might rescue me from that.
Still, Friday 13th, lucky for some, lucky for me with this ticket!
Oh yeah baby, bring it on!

I won £25 in a competition!!
On Monday morning I spied a white envelope by the front door with my name written on it by hand. "Ooh, who's this?"
Inside was a cheque for £25 payable to me!! OH the draught!!!!
A note!
Hello [Stigmum]
Congratulations for your tip here is your cheque from [Travel Company]
Regards
Lovely handwriting!!
£25!!!! Like winning the lottery! Camelot's never blown in that much for me!
And for a tip!
What tip?!
When?
I shall end my day's blogging with this post. I have to sign on tomorrow, demonstrate I've been looking for work....
It's a challenge blogging sometimes because I have positioned myself as someone harshly judged by society so feel I must tell what that life is like..on benefits..statutorily homeless..
American Resident got me thinking about that last night with a great post asking if Pioneer Woman is the most amazing blogger ever
I'll leave therefore on a postive note, in the hope of more positive things will come to me.. but really must get on and apply for something now or risk my benefits being taken off me...

Freebies and Competitions
Thought I'd start a new label. Nope, it's not Freebies.
Sadly, if one writes a blog that is not popular by whatever guages popularity one cannot expect to get any freebies (the freebie thought came from reading http://mdplife.blogspot.com/2011/07/freebies-freebies-come-and-grab-them.html - another disqus blog I can't leave a comment on....)
So, having won a competition the other week, I'm going to start a new label called Competitions!!!! Or rather Competition Winnings.
I entered a Mirror competition a few weeks ago to win a DVD of Exile with John Simm and Jim Broadbent. Thanks Daily Mirror!!!!!!!!!
I'm rather hoping the label will grow, grow as long as my housing government and council label with hundreds upon hundreds of entries!
One can but try....so you try it too!!!
Good luck!!
