Welcome advice

My son has attended but two or three swimming lessons this term as there have been problems with the training pool at Swiss Cottage which means that every week I get a text saying the lesson's cancelled. I've actually not minded too much as I cycle there with boy on the back and I've often felt too weak to do this.

Just now though, the swimming administrator has called to say my son's lessons have been pushed back to 5pm (a mistake on the system saw his lessons move to 5.30). She also told me they'd opened up lessons in Holloway and I could move my son's lessons there. I told her the bike ride was too hilly, that I could wait (if the prices are drastically reduced next term that is, which they will be, she said)

Talking about where to move my son's lessons, for next year Kentish Town pool should be up and running, I told her I was facing eviction and would hopefully be living close by where I am now, permanently.

She told me to get a social worker. She'd never been in my situation but knew others who have been and social workers will give it all a push. I told her neither doctor nor shrink had put me forward for one "because I look ok, I don't cry anymore." She said this shouldn't matter and get on to it as soon as possible.

I swear, wearing RED is really placing positive opportunities for me this morning. Must remain positive, must remain positive, must remain positive, must remain positive.....!

Now to call a new lawyer, one I've never called before.

These are all old roads, please please please can one of them lead to the Emerald City. There's no place like home, there's no place like home.... (Wizard of Oz)
